How to change Brother HL-3070CW toner cartridges on printer?
- Make sure the printer is turned off.
- Lift the top cover completely.
- Remove the toner and drum assembly of the color indicated in the printer's display.
- Take the used toner Brother 3070CW out of the drum unit by pressing the green lever.
- Slide the green tab sideways several times to clean the wire inside the drum unit.
- Get your new CompAndSave Brother 3070CW toner cartridge. Shake it several times to evenly distribute the toner. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color and the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Insert the new Brother 3070 toner into the drum unit and insert the whole assembly into the machine.
- Lower the top cover to close.
