Brother DCP-L3510CDW Toner Replacement Guide
- Check that the printer is on, then lift open the top cover.
- The internal parts may be hot to the touch, so wait a few minutes until they cool down.
- Remove the toner cartridge and drum unit assembly from the device.
- Press the lock lever and take the used toner cartridge out of the drum unit.
- Remove the new toner cartridge from its packaging. Take off its protective cover, as well.
- Firmly insert the new toner cartridge into the drum unit until it locks in place.
- Clean the corona wire inside the drum unit.
- Slide the toner cartridge and drum unit assembly back into the printer, then close the top cover.

Do all Brother printers use the same toner?
The short answer is no, not all Brother printers use the same toner cartridge. These toner cartridges have different sizes, fittings, and printer compatibility.
