Brother DCP-J774DW Ink Cartridge Replacement Guide
- Open the ink cartridge cover.
- Press the lock release lever on the old ink cartridge to be replaced to release it. Remove old ink cartridge from the machine.
- Remove the new ink cartridge from its packing.
- If replacing a black ink cartridge, quickly shake it horizontally about 15 times. DO NOT SHAKE COLOR INK CARTRIDGES.
- Insert the new ink cartridge into its corresponding slot following the direction of the arrow on the label.
- Gently push the area marked “PUSH” until the new ink cartridge locks into place.
- Close the ink cartridge cover.
