HP Apollo P2500 Ink Replacement Guide
- Turn on the printer
- Lift the printer's cover to access the cartridge compartment. The carriage will move to the replacement position.
- Wait for the cartridge holder to stop moving. Gently press down on the old cartridge to release it and carefully pull it out.
- Get your new CompAndSave's HP Apollo P2500 cartridge and remove the new cartridge from its packaging.
- Carefully peel off the protective tape covering the nozzles without touching them, as fingerprints or debris can damage the cartridge.
- Align the cartridge with the holder and push the cartridge firmly into place until it clicks.
- Close the printer cover.

Do all HP ink cartridges fit all printers?
No, not all HP ink cartridges fit in any kind of HP printer. HP ink cartridges have different model numbers that can only be used for the intended printer. These model numbers differ in size, weight, and compatibility. So make sure to only use the model number intended for your printer.
How do I get my HP printer to accept compatible cartridges?
Compatible, replacement or remanufactured cartridges are usually plug-and-play and don't need any changes in settings to work. But in case you encounter an issue wherein your printer will not accept it, the first thing to check is if you have purchased the correct model number of cartridge for your printer. To verify this, just check the printer's manual or the old cartridge installed in your printer and look for the model number which usually consists of alphanumeric characters. Once verified and you're still having the same issue, the next thing to do is to turn off the printer for at least 15 minutes, then wipe the copper or chip part of the cartridge with a non-abrasive towel or cloth with alcohol.
